36" x 24"  Oil on Linen

 This was one of those paintings that didn't come easy. After working on it for several weeks, I decided that it just didn't work. I washed it off and left it on the easel until I could figured out what I would use the canvas for. When my wife discovered that I had washed it off, she insisted that I try it again because it had such great potential. So instead of starting a completely new painting, I started again but this time working dark into light instead of light into dark as I had done the first time around.

Now we're both happy with the results. Let me know what you think.
